This is for (BevMom) Bev's HYCCT challenge to brighten someone's day with flower(s).
The bg I used today was the panel I was working on yesterday for the Elvis challenge but I was trying to use a gorgeous glittery metal snowflake I had and it didn't work. So I had snowflakes on the brain without success. My artsy DD walked in last night and said she liked the BG so on the way to school this morning I asked her what I could do with it and she said, "add a butterfly or flower". Duh!!!
I was also attempting to try the Bokeh technique that I had seen on Lydia's blog but last night looking at my result all I could think of was a phrase my teen boy likes to say "epic fail"!! Maybe if I had watched Lydia's video last night before trying it I would have done better!

It may not be the bokeh background you were going for, but it is very cool and makes me think of water. Love the blue flourishes and awesome flower you paired with it!

You know, this is one of those cards you don't appreciate because you knew in your head what you wanted. HOWEVER, to the rest of us, this is so ARTISTIC. That backgrounds bubbling around the sentiment really shows a lot of movement and I like it very much.

With all your frustrations and attempts, this card for today's challenge is wonderful. Love your rolled flowers.

I love your background! It's the first thing that drew my eye to your card. I guess I couldn't follow how this was a failure. Not sure I could get that effect even if I tried.
