This is my card for the HYCCT1318 challenge Put Your Brave Boots On! - to create a card that shows boots or shoes of some kind.
There's something about the image on this 7gypsies paper that just speaks to me. I thought it was perfect for this challenge.
I colored the tennis shoes with colores pencils and added some sponging around the edges. It's matted with Paper Studio Poetic Postage Paper sponged with Worn Lipstick Distress ink. It was meant to be the base layer, because it's really beautiful paper, but accidents happen, lol. The Hero Arts doily was cut from the same paper.
The image panel is mounted on foam tape on the Afternoon Muse base layer, which I distressed and inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress ink.
As always, thanks for looking!

Yup, this image speaks to me, too - ALL the kids in my daughter's age group during the early '90's wore these Converse high tops in every color under the sun - love your pink ones and the musical score and text you combined with them.
