This is for a young lady's 21st birthday. I used grunge board, which is a type of chip board, for WT449. The heart, wings and flourish are pre-cut grunge board pieces. The wings represent flying away from the nestÂ… independance.
I used the technique from TLC438, Metal Foil Art, because it allows the use of chip board in an interesting way.
The red heart was coloured with marker, allowed to dry, then sprayed with Pearl Mist.
I haven't uploaded a card for a while, so it's nice to get back in the game.

WOW! Very cool card! I love the metal look, especially with all the texture you added! Your heart with wings (with the x's and o's) is awesome! Perfect birthday card for a young lady turning 21!!!

Fabulous card and a technique that is on my to-do list! I love the idea of grunge board. It's a dream to work with. Your choice of elements under your foil tape is fantastic and love the little x's and o's on the wings. This is super!

Oh gosh, yes - that foil-art challenge was a great way of using chipboard, and I never thought of it. You've added some fabulous textures in there too. I like this a lot.
