I just received this new designer paper (Christmas Paper collection 2013) from ODBD yesterday and just had to use it today!!! Perfect for that shabby chic design!! I am loving it!! I even managed to not add any ribbons, lace or bows on my card. Almost could be used for a masculine card....LOL!
Since I was going for that shabby chic look I added the gold embossing for the elegant touch and distressed my card edges, added stitching, and embossed and inked up my paper with Vintage Photo ink from Tim Holtz.

WOW! The cardinals on this are so lovely! And your bg paper and framing is outstanding. I LOVE the way you stitched this especially the zig zaged sides to imitate the birds feathers.
