There are lizards stamped on the dark chocolate cardbase, although they are not easily seen in the photo. Did a couple of L things: lace, leopard, light brown, love seal, lizards.
I taught kindergarten for over 20 years, so these alphabet challenges are just a hoot for me. Having taught for 30 years in public school, I had a few days that I would find myself being one of the "lounge lizards", one of those teachers you always found in the teacher's lounge. After I retired, I wanted to spend my free time doing just what I wanted to do, stamping all day and playing in my craft room. This beat housework any day. So, since I was avoiding housework at all cost I thought I was being lazy doing only those things I liked doing instead of what I needed to be doing. So "lazy" I decided to be and being an "Elizabeth" I was often called "lizard" as a term of endearment by my friends (?) so when I found SCS I decided it would be "lazylizard" I called myself. When you see the size of my gallery here on SCS, you will know I've been around a long time, and maybe I'm not so "lazy" at cardmaking, but if you saw my house you might think I was lazy in my domestic skills. It's really all about priorities.

ah, so when I call you miss Lizard you feel right at home.Ha! That's funny. I love your card, it looks like a ladies wallet or clutch purse. love all the L stuff. Oh, and since you were a teacher I'm sure my lack of capitalization and punctuation probably bugs you huh? I have to tell you that pretty much I'm just a lazy typist!!! But back to your card, I love the leopard paper and the lace!!! Is that like wedding lace? I love your card!

Oh I so loved reading your story Liz! I think there may be quite a few of us who fit the bill of lazy if doing what we want to be doing instead of what we should be doing is the definition! I know when it comes to house work.... I find all kinds of things to do first! Lol! Love your lizards and leopard and lace card!

Liz, your priorities are in the right place. Only a kindergarten teacher could think of all these words for the letter "L". Cute card with all your elements. Thanks for playing along in the challenge today.

Well Elizabeth, I'm one who will never call you lazy or lizard. My mother's name was Elizabeth and I think it's one of the most beautiful names ever! And... I absolutely admire the fact that you taught kindergarten for 20 years - bless your heart.
I loved this challenge and your card! Growing up in the southwest, lizard's were part of the landscape *laughing* Your lizards are lot prettier dressed in lace and leopard skin. Bravo! Who wants to clean house after retirement anyway? Not me!

oh, just another reason to love you more, dear Liz! And not only soul sisters, but rebellious housekeepers...like I always say...the dust will be waiting.
