One of the hardest things, when you are battling cancer, is not just your own battle, but what it does to your children. My kids were 4 & 6 when I was going through my battle. They are now 6 & 8 and I see some of the scarring on them -- how much my most recent surgery (#4) affected them. For Lori's Peaceful Leaves challenge, I wanted to use this sweet & fun stamp from Wee Stamps. My daughter LOVES dragons (thanks enormously to playing DragonVale with my husband and now me!). I thought this would be the perfect card to brighten a child's day. I combined the HYCCT1307 challenge with the current SC457 sketch challenge.
Thanks for looking!

Thank you for your story. It reminds us why we love this Challenge so much. You know, your kids will be fine, I think. What's that saying, What doesn't kill us makes us stronger? Hugs all around. So cool that you made this cute, cute dragon for your daughter. Your kids are keepers for sure.

Oh wow! This card is so amazingly adorable! And you and your kids are so strong! Okay, my goal for next year is to make more kid cards!
