My faux polished stone was made by mixing Interference Blue PearlEx with some watercolor additive I had (I'm sure anything will work, I just used what was lying around unused). Dropped some of this mixture on my paper and pounced with an alcohol soaked cotton ball with drops of Almost Amethyst re-inker on it. I then set my background with El Cheapo aerosol hairspray. Too bad the scan doesn't pick up the cool metallic look, especially with the interference blue. From one angle it has a blue metallic, the other more gold. The sentiment was printed using Santa's Sleigh font.

Barb, What creativity you have in doing these cards! Love your faux polished stone and ribbon ideas! Gonna have to try them when I get some time tonight after work, dinner, homework, etc! You did another wonderful job on this card! I sure hope the people you give these to appreciate your talents!
