This for the HYCCT1306 challenge Many Colors of Cancer - to use one or more of the colors representing different types of cancer. My colors are:
Lavender - All cancers, Pink - Breast cancer, Peach - Uterine cancer, Teal - Ovarian cancer, Light Blue -Prostate cancer, and Plum, representing those who give so much of themselves to care for cancer patients. Either members of my own family or the families of friends have been victims of the types of cancer listed here.
After stamping the flower from the Blooming With Kindness set in the chosen colors on white cs, I stamped it on vellum with lavender ink and heat embossed with clear ep. I ran the piece through my Xyron and adhered to the stamped cs, then die cut an oval and a matching piece of craft foam for dimension. This was layered onto the frame die and lacy oval.
The card front was cut on a diagonal and designer paper was adhered to the front and inside of the card. I cut a smaller square of good quality white paper, folded on the diagonal and adhered to the inside back of the card below the diagonal card front so the giver could write a personal message. The focal image was attached to the card front, and the half pearls placed in the corners of the label and the center of the flowers on the fancy oval.
As always, thanks for looking!
