This is for the HYCCT1305 challenge Fighting in Pink Camo - to show our strength and be inspired by pink camo to fight, fight, fight!
Lee showed an example where she had made her own camouflage paper using stamps and lots of shades of pink ink. That sounded fun to me!
I chose a small flower from a stamp and die set from Hero Arts/SB, I can't find a name anywhere on the packaging (sorry). For the camo base I used a piece of white cs that had been used for brayering practice, it was a medium shade of pink. I randomly stamped using Colorbox Orchid and Razzberry, and an unnamed Studio G ink (pinky red). It seemed too dark, so I added some flowers with Colorbox Frost white.
The hearts were cut with SB dies and the sentiment with Memory Box dies. The words were cut twice and glued together for added dimension. The top layer of "you" is cut from the camo paper.
The background paper is the reverse side of some Bo Bunny Halloween paper. I love the way the bright pink pops against the patterned black.
As always, thanks for looking!
