Here's a card made for this month's Flourishes Beautiful World Tour and also for Misti's Many Colors HYCCT challenge. I chose the pink ribbon and the white and black ribbon as a tribute to my husbands family. His mother and both sisters have had breast cancer (sisters are survivors) and his brother had lung cancer. Out of six children in his family five have had cancer and 8 out of 9 of his mother's siblings also. Their family has been part of a research study regarding genetic links in this whole area.
I coloured just one flower pink for a pop of colour and shaded the rest of the image because the BTW challenge this month is monochrome. I was able to make a matching button with the Impression Obsession button dies, which I stacked up (four layers) for a sort of chipboard effect - was going to use some crystal effects to give the button gloss but I can't find them in my very messy stamp room!
I added Ranger Enamel Accents to finish.

Bridget, this is gorgeous!! We're talking, zing went the strings on my heart gorgeous! And I hope the research study turns up something! That is, um, impressive isn't the right word, but I'm on my first cup of coffee so let's just stick with that for now.

So many. So very many. Too many. I hope that the trials that they have faced in some way help others who will follow. Deeply moved by how cancer creeps it's way into so many lives. Your card is gorgeous, Bridget. I can feel the empathy there.
