Lee's somewhat challenging challenge over in the HYCCT forum today is to use pink camo! Yikes!!
I made my camo using some old scrap rubber (hard to believe I still had some left after making my mosaic stamp!). I was going to tone it down by laying vellum over it, but that sort of seemed to defeat the whole point of having made it! I stitched round the edges, adding some ribbon at the bottom as a ground for my vase. Vase is a Spellbinders Mega Oval trimmed, coated with Versamark and embossed with Verdigris ep. The poppies were painted with ink and slightly highlighted with gold. Blooms popped up on foam, and then after I'd arranged them, I also popped up the centre of the vase and stuck the edges down very firmly. Since this is Lee's challenge I also added some pink bling ;D.
