This is for Lori's Courage & Strength HYCCT challenge. When I was trying to think what stamp to use for yesterday's Faux Whitewash TLC, I thought these poppies would work well for some red courage!
I followed Jenn's tutorial in the TLC link above - like me, she's a new recruit to the TLC team ;-), so I couldn't miss her first challenge. I'm a dumb dodo, though! It was only when I started making a second card with the technique that I realised I actually had Frost White re-inker and didn't need to smoosh the living daylights out of my tired white inkpad!! I just added borders down the sides and a sentiment tied on to the ribbon. Not just Courage and Strength but CAS too .
Are you playing along with us? If not, you're missing out on the chance to lift the spirits of women battling breast cancer at MD Anderson, and also on more than $5000 in prizes from your favorite crafty companies. So what are you waiting for? Get to stamping!

Bonus points for the CAS/CAS. I wondered if anyone would get that! ;) Love your poppies! They are absolutely beautiful! And, you **know** I love that kraft cardstock! Thanks for playing my challenge and being a big part of HYCCT! Hugs!

Very pretty poppies, very pretty card! I like the softness of the poppies with the whitewash combined with the bright/bold for your red borders & ribbon.
I do like the look of this technique on kraft cardstock. I've also done this technique on vellum....makes for a beautiful pastel look.
