I made a mask with four squares. Placed the masked over a 5 x 3" piece of white paper, sponged on pretty in pink. Removed the mask and stamped the single rose from the Embrace Life Stampin Up set using memento black ink. coloured the rose using copic markers. Made the pink planter. I made a 1" square, sponged on pretty in pink ink. Placed Drywall tape over top and then sponged on regal rose ink. Removed the tape. Added the grass to the planter. Stamped on the sentiment from Stampin Up's "You make me happy set". Added the butterfly and the stickles. Embossed the white base cardstock. Added the gingham ribbon and sewed around the edges of the image panel and base panel. Popped up the image panel. Here is the card of Susan's that I cased His Love endures forever
I used the four squares, similar layout and colours and kept it fairly CAS (for me)
Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Susan. You deserve to be honoured --- wow, Queen for the Day and featured stamper all within one week... You go girl
This also works for this weeks ways to use it challenge - squares and the free 4 all - four squares

Oh my goodness Miss Pat, this is wonderful. I love the embossed background and the stitching. Your masked squares and stamping look beautiful. What a lovely way to honour Susie.

Hi Pat, this is a beauty!! I love your pink squares with the single rose - I have this set but never used this single rose - don't know why when I see how beautiful this looks! Love the bg embossing and black gingham ribbon and, of course, your stitching!!
