A big congrats to Susie, the newest Featured Stamper! What a beautiful gallery she has and I chose THIS card to case. I kept the big oval frame but used different images, different colors and moved the sentiment.
I love to make water color backgrounds -just free form swaths of color, then stamp on top of them. When I do water color backgrounds, I usually make an extra, or two, & stash them away. This is one of those extras. It's just large bands in different colors. I decided where to stamp it then added highlights w/ a white gel pen.
The frame was die cut with a large oval then I used a Japanese screw punch with the smallest bit I have to punch the holes all around the edge. The greeting was stamped underneath to finish my 4.25 x 5.50 card.
Congrats again, Susie, enjoy your week! Thanks so much for looking! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff
