| Make card base using watercolor paper for stability. Apply glue around the edges of card front and apply chunky glitter; set aside to dry. Next I cut a piece of the pretty paper collection and used the distress machine to distress the edges. I applied some distress ink around the edges to add some depth. I cut a piece of the watercolor paper and ran it through the distress folder and glued it to the distressed piece of paper. This can now be glued down to the card front. I cut a narrow piece of the paper and ran it along the side of the swiss dots as I wanted to use it like a ribbon. Next I cut a couple of pieces of the paper and on the darker one I used glue and glitter to highlight the design in the paper and this is a Christmas card and needs lots of glitter! Now I stamped the sentiment circle onto watercolor paper and cut out with the pendant die. I also cut out one of the trees at the same time. I applied chunky glitter to the tree and the edges of the snowflake pendant. Now glue everything down on the card front and add dimensional tape to the back of the pendant to pop it up just a little. |
