This is my card for this weekÂ’s cc445 challenge. Peggy is our hostess and she challenged us with whisper white, smoky slate and gumball green. Our dessert option is to use the chalkboard technique.
I used the SU stamp “woo hoo” for my chalkboard design. Stamped in craft ink and then embossed with white ep. I then took a sponge and lightly sponged white die ink for the chalkboard dust.
My dsp is from the SU “eastern elegance” collection. My doily is cut in smoky slate with the Cheery Lynn Designs die “Polynesian sails”.
I cut my birthday word with the PTI birthday die. Added some lace and a few punched hearts to complete my card.
Hope you can play along with us this week. You may be the next cc fave of the week. Check the current cc post- HERE- to see who was selected from last weekÂ’s entries.

Mary, I love your chalkboard technique, so brave of you to get that in. And you did it beautifully! So many great details, from the layers to the Polynesian die and lace trim. Nice sponging too! Just a great card all the way around.
