Thanks, Sabrina, for the wonderful challenge...I had so much fun doodling on the lanterns in the background!!! The background was stamped with Pistachio Pudding, colored with Copics, and then I traced on all the lanterns and flags. After I worked so hard on the first flower lantern trying to trace all the lines just so, I gave up and just started a little freestyle....I felt such freedom...LOL!!! The little Japanese girl was colored with copics and the ribbon finishes it off. I have no idea what Ni Hao means...I hope it's rated PG!!!! TFL!!

Way to go with the free-style doodling, Joan! I think that's why I found this technique helped me - I always reckon that if I could draw I wouldn't need such a big stamp budget, but when I have an outline to work with that helps me so much. Your lanterns are so festive looking and your little Japanese girls so pretty. The soft colour scheme is gorgeous.
