This is a birthday card for a dear friendís granddaughter who will be five next week. She is getting her very first tea set! My friend wanted it to have lots of pink and chose this image, which is very similar to the tea set she is getting. It was a special joy to make this, since her daddy is currently deployed overseas, so she wonít get to hug him until next year. Thanks to ALL those who serve, including their precious families!
I was inspired by Chris Olsen (glowbug) who has used this technique beautifully in so many cards! Thanks, Chris!
Thanks for taking a closer look!

I can see why she was thrilled with the card you were commissioned with. Love that design with the embossing along the edge and then the pretty pearls. Very feminine for the sweet little girl. Great work, Cheryl !

You certainly are my cup of tea Cheryl! A friend to all, and one I'd gladly have tea with (she smiles). This is a darling card. I love the embossing, and the tea set image is just the cutest [along with that beautiful bow]. And no greater love could accompany her little tea set than this sweet card made by you, and given by her grandmother. I am sure it will be treasured for years to come.

Cheryl, I just happened to be going through your gallery and I came across this card. I absolutely LOVE IT! All the girlie pink and that image are just perfect. What a lucky girl to get this card. My mother is British, so we are always into "tea time"! Great job!
