I stamped the ship using night of navy ink onto vanilla cardstock. Next I stamped the map using SU's World Map. Then I distressed the vanilla with distress ink and brown sugar ink. I distressed the edges of both pieces with my distressing tool. Next I crumpled up the image then opened it and distressed it with ink again. I added the embossing twice to the background using diving swirl ef. I added the paper to the base and added twine to make it look more nautical.

Sue what an absolutely gorgeous nautical card... love the distressed look and the way you crumbled the ships image panel... very well done... also love this colour combo.. very masculine... love it...
