My DH has planted some beautiful "Lady Ferns" on the side of the house, and also in our perennial garden. They have taken over some other plants, and have to be watched carefully.......BUT........they are so beautiful, it's hard to keep them in check.
I cut a piece, brayered it with pigment ink, and ran it through the cb. Not only did I get the lovely celadon color, but some of the chlorophyll from the stem.
I combined the challenges..thanks to both of our hostesses for a fun challenge. This card goes off in the mail this morning to a cyber friend who is having knee replacement surgery!

There is a house on the corner of my street with lots of ferns in the front yard, and I always comment on how pretty they look. They have nothing, however, on you! This card is lovely. Running it through the cuttlebug was probably a little less messy than the way I did it! LOL!!!

Pretty, pretty, pretty card Anne!! That fern looks like it could be a stamp! Great job on that challenge!
(as far as my punch...I'm on my second one!! My first one broke shortly after I bought it!! I loved it so much I had to buy another one.. I would think Martha would put out better products! If you do get a replacement, save the packaging and receipt..in case it breaks again! I have learned a lesson ;)
