My daughter and I experimented with spray paint art last weekend, and I thought that would be a fun interpretation of the Mix-Ability challenge for the week... we mostly learned from watching street art videos on Youtube. It's quite addicting, and it didn't take too long to get the hang of it.
We didn't have the white posterboard that most street artists seem to work with, so we were working on glossy cereal boxes and magazine pages. The white is sort of helpful, because there are techniques using magazine pages to remove layers of paint so that the white shows through... instead of white highlights on our scenes, the colors from our Rice Krispies boxes show through... but it was fun, and we were together and learned a lot in the process. WIN!

This is amazing - I keep looking at it trying to figure out techniques, but it isn't doing me much good! How ever you did it, it's fabulous!

Another masterpiece Dina!! This is incredible! Your artwork is absolutely amazing! I too will look for these videos but I doubt I could ever create a scene quite this spectacular. Love the texture in this!
