I wanted to mess around and try some word art with this verse from Proverbs for today's Ways To Use It challenge, Sweet as Honey. I then used a stencil to sponge over it and added some liquid enamel dots and bee buttons - the composition was a bit better with just two bees but I messed up with the liquid enamel and had to add another bee to cover it up. But I have to say, it was completely user-error, that stuff is really easy to use and I love the result - little enamel dots which dry nice and shiny but seem to be more postage-friendly than pearls. It comes in white too.

This is a great card! Thanks for the info about the liquid enamel dots, too. Love the way you worked the words. Just great--everything--even the hidden "oops."

Bridget, this card is wonderful! It reminds me of some of the Christian art journaling I've been following lately. And when I saw your card this morning I thought, "now that's a good idea!" Journaling in card form seems to lessen my anxiety of designing a complete page. Your card has inspired me to take a small step forward to an art form I've long wanted to do.

Love it, Bridget...the composition is perfect the way it is!! So...your scripture verse was computer generated? How wonderful! The liquid enamel looks fabulous and really pops against the yellow!
I have used that white and black enamel, and yes it is great but you have to have the right touch to apply. It's always nice when you do mess up, you can correct it some way. You did good. That is a wonderful Proverb and works perfect with today's challenge. Well done.

Oh, Bridget, I LOVE this verse! And I love how you've used it in this new journaling format. And I have some of that enamel, so I'm inspired (as always) by your wonderful use of it! And those bees are precious! Yes, gracious words are so powerful and healing!

WOW on the word art- something I've been meaning to try! Not easy combining fonts in such an eye appealing manner and you succeeded beautifully! Love it and love the honeycomb stenciling with it too!
