This is my first time entry for any color challenge. This is for CC442 (but substituting Colorbox inks of Ice Jade, Aqua, and Blue Lagoon.
I masked the cardstock with photocopy paper that I had cut in a curvy line. I stippled the sky first, then the dunes, then the water. I added a little white marker for foam where the water meets the shore. I stamped the palm trees, gulls, and sentiment last.
I have not tried this particular technique before. I have masked, but only to keep a straight line between the white portion of a card and where I have sponged a background. I don't quite have the hang of this yet, but it was fun to try!
