This is card #3 using the lattice die today. I am honoring a previous queen Brenda/tessaduck by using a technique she uses with diecuts. I cut my Lattice in 3 colors today and then pieced them together for different looks (and used one diecut as a stencil!). This one is a 4 1/4" square. I glued my Cherry lattice diecut onto a piece of what I think is Baked Brown Sugar then started gluing in the "waste" pieces of Artichoke and Crumb Cake. Once they were all glued back in, I embossed in the Square Lattice ef. I stamped my sentiment in Artichoke then double punched it in the Designer Label punch. I punched two more double punched Artichoke pieces and layered them behind and then placed them on my embossed piece.

Oh wow, Gail, this takes my breath away! (Did you know that I'm also a quilter?) How beautifully you've done the inlaid die cut trick! Goosebumps. Just. Wow.

Great idea. A non-traditional look for a Christmas card, but you get the idea with your choice of colors (and if you miss the point, the sentiment is a dead giveaway).
very pretty. I am intrigued by "quilting" designs. I don't have the lattice die cut..guess I am going to have to buy it now!! thanks for posting this card as well as the directions.
