I had a great time "shopping" in Lee's gallery since last evening, and I have about 20 new fav's saved away! Lee, congrats on being our current FS, your gallery is truly inspirational! I chose In the Pink for the sweet layout, which I kept.
I also made the card too large to accommodate my Cuttlebug, so I used the Kokirose Wandering Stitch to add texture. The images I used are ancient, but among my favorites. And the fish paper is from my trip to Cat's Meow yesterday! I used Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk to ink this image, because "regular" ink & I do not get along on intensely patterned stamps.
Thanks for another great FS! And thanks for looking!

Pat, as a person who struggles with masculine cards, this one is so appealing to me - love the distressing, the net looking ribbon, and the fab fish dp - not to mention the wandering stitch - I have to try that!

Well, THIS masculine card was no where near a struggle - you ACED it, my friend!!That might be an old image but it's a goodie, especially paired up with the "net" ribbon, a few brads and the twine. The sponging really gives that "guy" look, and your stitching is awesome. LYMI

Perfection! Love this. That fish paper is awesome! I need a sheet of that!! You know, we still have the tin you made for DH, when he was a TPT recipient, displayed in the entertainment center.

Something fishy about this card my friend.....I mean one can hardly imagine you making a card too big for the CB, tee hee. That is one fantastic oldy but goodie stamp you dug out (probably found it with Curt's help). Love that you used the chalk ink, it looks great with that fabulously busy BG - and what card isn't complete with out some Kokirose stitching. I likey, likey this fishy! Hugs.

Such a lovely guy card! They all love to fish right? I know my DH would love this card! He used to fish in tournaments all the time when we lived in LA, close to some WATER unlike landlocked CO! I love stitching on cards! I should do that more and because I can't stitch straight, I could call it a wandering stitch right?
Thanks for the love in my gallery too! LYMI!
