In keeping with my resolve for this school year, I didn't head down to stamp til our home school day was done. So, I combined for three challenges: Free for All to use primary colors, Mixability to drip, blow etc, and the Queen for the Day Review where I chose to CASE a card from Lydia/understandblue's awesome gallery. I chose a card I've actually been inspired by before. I actually used the CitraSolv Magic technique on an entire National Geographic magazine so I still have lots of sheets of prepared paper left . I first added some white as Lydia did on her card; I rolled the Timber wheel in Whisper White Craft. I had chosen a piece of paper with the primary colors already in it, but I couldn't resist adding some more blue in there for Lydia! I stamped the grunge/diamond pattern in Island Indigo and also dripped watered down Indigo and blew it around with a straw. I stamped my sentiment in Versamark and embossed with TH Distress ep, Mustard Seed? I kind of lost the definition of the letters so I went back with a Riding Hood Red marker to trace around them. I wanted to emphasize the primary colors a bit more so I added triangles of Island Indigo and Riding Hood Red and used a base of So Saffron. I threw some sequin/confetti on there to highlight the reds and called it done. Mine is not quite as dreamy as Lydia's and perhaps my enjoy the journey sentiment fits the more "trippy" feel!

Oh my gosh you are so sweet!!! Thank you so much for picking me and making this AWESOME card!! It's so weird - I just re-watched the citrasolv video this week and was contemplating doing some more - crazy coincidence! Yours is beautiful - I can't believe you got a lot of the same colors in there. I really love that you stamped on there too - why didn't I think of that? The background is perfect. It is perfectly trippy!!

Oh wow this is fantastic!! I can definitely see Lydia's influence in this. Your outlining of the letters in the sentiment works well and the sequins are a fun little accent. BTW, I did that same technique with a collage artist friend and have several sheets of altered Nat'l Geo mag saved up . She said that Nat'l Geo was the only mag it worked on..?? who knew.
