Vicky’s challenge to the CCEE Stampers this week is to make a vintage card and use the cracked glass technique on it. Vintage (and indeed Cracked Glass often) almost always sends me to the more masculine style card so I decided to push myself to do something a bit different this time! Thanks for some fun challenges this month, Vicky - I enjoyed them.
A2 Cryogen white base. Faux Patina- Provocraft snowflake ef, Tumbled Glass, Pumice Stone, Tea Dye and some silver EP.
For the cracked glass panel I used Penny Black Holly Day Critters stamped on white card, coloured with pencils and silver marker, sponged with Pumice Stone and Tumbled Glass, then finished off with Versamark and three layers of UTEE. I cut the oval shape first, and then layered it on a larger ovel sponged with Pumice Stone and stamped with IO Cover-a-Card Craquelure in Pumice Stone.
Seam Binding misted with Perfect Pearls Mists Blue Patina, sponged with some Tea Dye and finished off with a copper snowflake brad and arhinestone.
The little sentiment tag is from Lili of the Valley (Christmas Sentimetns) stamped and embossed with silver ep, misted with the Blue Patina and sponged lightly with Tea Dye.
