How cute are these! They were so easy to make - I adhered two sheets of craft foam (different colors) with rubber cement and then die cut with the Sizzix BIGZ dies. Punched two 1/8" holes with the hammer-type punch so I didn't have to worry about the thickness. Snip to the holes to make a cord slot and you are good to go! Just look through all your dies to find ones that "indent" in a bit on the sides to hold the cords.
You could probably cut individual sheets with dies for thinner materials, and then use a hole punch if you have those available - just be careful about lining up and maybe use Aileen's Tacky glue rather than an instant bond - no wiggle time adhesive like rubber cement (ask me how I know!) You need the two layer of fun foam to make it stiff enough to hold the cords. Glueing the sheets first meant I could get adhesive all the way to the edges with no spillover, and be very clean with the cut.
These would make great back-to-school gifts, teachers gifts, stocking stuffers, office gifts. It seems like everyone has headphone cords tangled in their purse. TFL
