I have a masculine birthday card needed for September so I thought I would do a little combining today. I made my own DP from an online map and stamped boot prints on it so I think that counts for the technique challenge to stamp on DP. I used the colors from today's color challenge and the idea to use a map came from Catered Crop Recipe Swap.
My BIL and his family live in MN and they take canoe trips in the Boundary Waters so the map is of entry points. I like to camp and I will backpack (not my favorite thing) but canoeing in the boundary waters...now to me that takes an ADVENTUROUS spirit so I thought the sentiment from Unity worked well with this.
Not sure if you can see it but I scored the map to look like it was a used a map.

This is fabulous. Love the foot prints. I am sure the boots got more than just a little muddy as they portage the canoe. I wanted to take a canoe trip this year, but my daughter's wedding kinda got in the way. Maybe next year.

Now THIS is clever! Love the imagination and design in this! What a great card for him and yes, the lines show.
You are more daring than I am. As a former sky diver you won't see me strapping that pack on for backpacking (grin). That thing is heavy!

This is so cool. I love the boot prints over the map and that canoe is too cute.
