Congratulations Gabby (Gabalot) on becoming our newest featured stamper. Plus I get to case you again from the Queen for the Day Challenge QFTD174 (QFTD139). Gabby is one of my teapotter sisters - you know I love ya - Miss Gabby :)
Here is the cute card of Gabby's that I cased WT401 Fa la la
I kept the bird theme, I used fabric for the ground instead of torn paper and used brads instead of buttons.
I created the polka dot background using a stencil. First I sponged on the blue dots (night of navy), next I reposistioned the stencil and painted on the white pearl acrylic paint. Cut out three different fabrics and created the grass. Sewed on the fabric and around the white base/polka dotted card. I stamped the birds onto the paper. Stamped the birds again, cut out their bodies and popped them up. Stamped on the sentiment. Attached the 3 brads. Popped up the image panel.
This is also for the Mix30 challenge - to use fabric and combine it with one or more medium - acylic, gesso, ink etc.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight, you deserve it...

This is sooooooooo awesome!! I love the patchwork ground and the birds are adorable!!!!!!
------------------------------ Thank you all so much for all the cards for SCS member Ladybug91743 Marie-alice. She is done with chemo and surgery. She is done with radiation treatments too, and is now just focused on recovering. She loves the cards!!
Absolutely love the way both of you incorporated fabric in creating your landscaping. Really makes the card feel homemade and from the heart.
