My son's girlfriend invited friends and family for a surprise birthday BBQ for my son last Saturday. Turned out that the surprise was not for my son ... but for all the guests that had been invited. It was a surprise wedding!
I made this special wedding card for my son and daughter-in-law (love you!!), inspired by Nikki's beautiful bouquet of gerbera daisies and hydrangea blooms with twine.
For more details, and a picture of the bouquet that inspired my card, please check out my blog. As well, there is a picture of the happy couple on their wedding day posted a couple of days ago.

I LOVED this story on your blog, I'd never heard of this happening and just thought it was the biggest surprise EVER! And I'm favoriting this beautiful, beautiful wedding card as I'm often asked to make personal wedding cards - this is simply gorgeous!

It goes without saying that this is a beautiful card in its own right and a fabulous case of Nikki's bouquet. But more than that, it speaks volumes of the love you put into making it and the love you have for Evan and Nikki. It is truly a keepsake. Nikki has really lucked out with a fabulous MIL!

What a lovely card! Into my favs. Love to case this sometime. tfs The bride's bouquet and the groom including the memory pictures is one of the most special tributes I've ever seen at a wedding. They must be a very loving and special couple.

You truly are a master of design with die cuts! That large flower is exquisite and love the way you formed and sponged the tiny blossoms framing the bride and groom's names! Wonderful wedding card, Loll!
