This is inspired by a framed tile that hangs in my kitchen. Thanks to BethÂ’s sketch IÂ’ve finally made the card IÂ’ve been thinking about for a year!
I used sort of a polished stone technique for the stamped panels. I put ink from the bottles on the card stock and use the aqua painter to spread it around. When I get it where I want it I spray alcohol over the c/s. Continue this procedure until I get the colors I want. Somewhere in there I added a little gold metallic paint from a pen. The c/s will curl but as you see it will flatten out just fine with tape on the card. This was fun and IÂ’ll be doing it again!
The flowers are colored with ink from the bottle using an aqua painter so it would be dark. The ivy leaves are the rock and roll technique. I stamped the script with burgundy and also pressed the brown pad over it before stamping to tone down the color.
IÂ’m going to frame this and let it be a wall hanging like the inspiration piece. NowÂ…who will I give it to!

Wow! This is gorgeous, I love all the techniques you used. It really has a granite/marble effect. At first I thought the little thumbnail in the corner was just a smaller photo of the large one. You did a perfect job of duplicating your inspiration piece. TFS
