Well, better late than never, I guess. I finally made it to this party. My card is for teapot Tuesday & headed out to Texas to Janet who could use a spot of sunshine & encouragement this week. Kept it simple (or I'd never have made it this week). Enjoy!

I don't think it's "simple" that matters, Vicky. In this case, it's knowing there's someone out there who cares enough to make and send a card to uplift her spirits and put a smile on her face! That's what it's all about. You have sweet little sunflowers in both corners, and the dp gives a nice country feel! And your scripture is priceless~

Vicky, this is a lovely card and not a bit too late! I love those sweet little sunflowers and the pretty blue and white paper and great sentiment on this wonderful card! Thank you so much! Janet will be so touched by all the lovely cards that the wonderful ladies of the teaparty are going to send her. She has no idea about what is about to rain down on her.....

Before my paper crafting addiction, I hoarded fabric, and I think that I might have the exact print that you used for your background; it really feels so country and "homey", and with the sunflowers, it is just perfect!
