Mix28: I watched Dina's video, post #18... I wanted to try this technique to make branches.... I discovered that it was much much harder than it looked.
IC401: So when I saw the inspiration site Michele Varian I knew it was time to try that technique. The main page has a branch...So I used it for my inspiration. I decided before hand that I wanted to add the frog into the scene.. This would be a partial case of a card I made and donated but never uploaded to SCS. I masked and brayered the water with SU cool caribbean and tempting turquoise. Then I stamped a water texture stamp over it. I sponged in my clouds with a cloud template. I used watered down paint and the SU spritzer to blow my branches into their shapes... I used paint to make my little flowers. I then stamped my frog image into the scene along with my little mosquito. I stamped the frog image once again on PTI white, colored, cut out and popped him up..
Congrats to all of last week's winners
Thanks for looking

You're not kidding, it was harder to work with the straw and ink than one would think. Your card turned out amazingly awesome!! It looks like it was easier than I know it was. I like your flowers on the branches and your cute little frog watching that mosquito. :>)
