Started with glossy cardstock which I usually don't use, any white cardstock is fine. Applied dysusions ink in fushia, teal yellow and orange and blotted with a paper towel. I just wanted to lay down a light color background. Taped my stencil down to keep it from moving and sponged distress inks in peacock, raspberry, mustard, marmlade and grape. Black heat embossed the roses then stamped the silhouette leaves at the bottom of the roses. Used a dylusions checker boarder and sponged black ink. Colored the flowers with gel pens. It is much brighter (as are all of my cards) in person, but I just can't photograph the cards very well. TFL.
