Vicky's great challenge over at CCEE Stampers today is to make your own embellishments ~ "buttons, flowers, brads, etc. Also, please use at least two designer papers and an embossing folder on your card." Two DPs - no easy combining with today's WT to use background stamps, then. My papers are very discreet and subtle but they ARE there, in fact I used 3 different polka dot papers. One for the butterfly base and buttons, one for the fleur de lis square and one for the little tag. I used a matching embossing folder, too, so I've ticked all the boxes.
Paper Buttons tutorial here - I used an MFT die but otherwise followed the directions.
Flowers are also MFT, sunflower die; the leaves are an unknown Spellbinders die cut from Core-dinations, embossed and sanded.
Butterfly is Memory Box.
Tag sentiment is HA, die is Spellbinders Tags Trio.
Base layer is more Core-dinations embossed and sanded, then stitched.
Don't forget to use the keyword if you want to share your DIY-embellished card here, or link it on the blog .

Beautiful flowers!! I love the buttons you made for their centers. Sabrina, this card is just gorgeous. TFS!

Sabrina, your embossing, sponging and picking just the right dies make this a gorgeous garden, displayed ever so sweetly on the stitched and embossed with SB background! Every inch shows your heart goes into every card you make! This one is breathtaking!!!
