The challenge on the SweetStamps blog this week is silhouettes, come join in on the fun!
The background text is a page from an old book which I covered with Liquitex clear gesso mixed with white acrylic paint from Ranger. Cloudy Blue acrylic paint was also applied.
Next I applied some Faber Castell Gelatos using the colors Cotton Candy and Lime.
Ranger Distress Ink Broken China was used with the Prima stencil to add the flourish and Mowed Lawn with an unknown brand stencil to add the checks in the lower area.
The SweetStamps images Robyn Bird and Queen AnneÂ’s Wildflowers were stamped on using Smokey Grey Shades dye ink. Since the paper was treated with a sealer donÂ’t expect the image to be shape, the ink will slightly run together given a more muted look.
The SweetcutsTiny Flower 2 piece die set was used to cut the flowers and Stickles was added to the center. The lower right circle accents were cut from the center of the top die, glued to the card with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue and covered with Paper Glaze for a shiny finish.
The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the 1/16” and 3/8” borders. The image and border panels are popped up with foam squares.
