For the August 2013 Creative Crew holiday focus challenge: Look at the Gingham & Garden/Garden Delight suite (Pages 80-95) and recreate or "case" one of the projects on these pages, changing at least two/three things to make the project more your own. Tell us which project you cased and what changes you made.
I used the "hello, you" card on Page 90 of the catalog, and here are the main changes I made:
-Different stamp sets
-To add depth to the flower, instead of using different colors I stamped and cut out the flower or parts of the flower multiple times and layered them with Dimensionals
-New color combo (Always Artichoke, Strawberry Slush, Crumb Cake)
-Switched the direction of the flag so it looks a little like a leaf for the flower
- DSP strip goes across the whole page instead of just below the flag
-Added the linen thread to a folded Modern Label punch shape in the upper right corner
Thanks for looking!

Great card. You have inspired me for a long time and this card is no exception. Great idea to make the flower multi-layered--it truly gives more depth to that flower. Other elements on your card are nicely balanced. Love the sentiment.
Thanks for sharing.
