I have been so busy and tired lately so had a evening off and wanted to come back and create....yah....especially when I found out today...well actually yesterday now...lol... the featured stamper was a Wanda...great name...;0).
some of you already know I am really Wanda but go by Wendy here...was just shy to put real name here when I first started, and not sure if I should change it or leave it as Wendy...anyways had to Honor a Wanda...:0)
Also saw the CAS challenge was about a song with a butterfly, so wanted to come here too, and when I saw THIS card Hey there Mr. Owl! by stampcatwg at Splitcoaststampers I thought it was so cute and could just change the owl to the butterfly.
So I had this new little paper I bought from the dollar bin at Michaels and it worked perfectly, so cute for underneath. I added the foam under the top layer to give it depth like Wanda did and a couple leaves, plus cut out a couple little flowers from the paper to add depth again in the corners...kinda shows...much better here. Instead of the cut out sentiment I added the Joy on the side. Liked how its swirls matched the embossing a bit. I Punched and sponged the edges to the butterfly to kind of match the flowers and raised him on the top layer as well. then got looking...it looked like it needed a flight path..he-he...sorry, tired..lol.
thanks for the visit., and sorry for the weak pic. My camera battery died, will have to re-charge, but late now or early, depends which way you look at it..he-he...:0)..wanted to get this done. Have a great day.

Hi Wendy (Wanda!) I love the joyful look to your card. Will think of you as Wanda from now on!
