CONGRATS Wanda (stampcatwg) on being our FS this week! All the cards in your gallery are wonderful. :) This is the card I made for you. I was also inspired by a photo from yesterday's IC challenge and several DTGD13 challenges. It is also for The Male Room challenge. I am adding it to the CCEE1331, Masculine Birthday challenge, as well.
I tried to reflect the sand/ground using some gold/brown colors, the roughness w/the burlap and distressed edges, and white inked feathers (cut from MME dp but the white line work overpowered their prints--that's okay cause i like the way the line work turned out.) I also used the aqua/blue tones and yellow/gold chevrons, twine and a canvas button.

I saw a new challenge on Stephanie's (SmilynStef) INGENIOUS INKLING blog, called The Male Room Challenge and decided to give it a try. It appears that the challenges will be for masculine cards, this week's being an "anything goes" challenge. Check it out:
