This is for Latisha/1busymomof2's DTGD Challenge.
With a DH who served 25 years in the Navy I make lots of nautical themed things. I started with a tag from a pair of one of my sons' jeans. I cut a piece of chip board to extend the length of the tag. I added a light coat of Gesso. I added a piece of music paper and stamped my globe in Sepia. I stamped my ship in Onyx and layered a piece of another ship image over the stamped ship. I laid some mesh tape over the top of the tag and sponged Night of Navy through it. I had the light house image that I'd torn too small for the card I intended it for, but it was just right for my tag! I had a piece of Navy paper that I'd used as a shim with my MBossabilities Asian ef. I laced an anchor charm onto some twine and wrapped it around my tag several times then wove and tied it several times.

LOL my husband is a helicopter pilot too, touring to Guadal Canal where the US navy was based during WW2. I digress, back to your gorgeous tag. I LOVE IT!!!!! Mind you Gail I think you could scribble on a brown paper bag and it would look fantastic.
