This is for Angela's (jellybean74) DTGD challenge.
Also for Whippetgirl.
I have always coloured this poppy red, but California poppies are one of the few things that grew from my packs of wildflower seeds (too cold too long, then too hot and dry) and I have them in the garden at the moment.
Papers are BoBunny. ODBD image stamped on watercolour paper, cut with custom die and coloured with distress inks - Tumbled Glass, Mustard Seed, Iced Spruce, Bundled Sage, Antique Linen.
I made a little flower with a scrap of lace and a buton centre. Die-cut ric-rac stitched onto the yellow panel. TCP sentiment

How interesting that you have California poppies growing in your garden now! Of course being a Ca girl, this pleases me! This is one beautiful card, Sabrina! I love the fresh summer colors!
