Took our DGDs to Sedona, AZ for an overnight. Had great fun--especially wandering around in this gift shop/gallery!
I did a lot of blending in the background and blended 3 different photos for the center, putting them in a mask to achieve the shape.
For the upturned words at the very bottom of the journaling tag, I actually did two text boxes--one for all the text except the last two; the second box for those two words, then rotated the box so it would follow the up-tilted line.
Journaling: “On our way back to our motel, we stopped at one of Grandma & Pop Pop’s favorite spots--this awesome shop & gallery on Hwy 179. We had a blast! There are so many nooks & crannies as you wander through room after room. Every turn of a corner brings new surprises & treasures ranging from aliens & wind chimes to Mexican pottery & metal cacti! The girls enjoyed posing for quite a few photos, but their favorite was getting some pictures of the giant ants crawling over them.”

The close ups of the layout are a "must" to see but the double gives you the best overall view. Such a super page, where do I begin?? The layout looks just as fantastic as the shop as you described it. SUPER DUPER!!
