Here's my card for Kittie's (kittie747) DTGD challenge.
I decided to make my card for Halloween when I finally settled on the patterned papers I was going to use! My first intent was to make this a summery card (!) but such are the turns that creativity takes right!!??
My flower is a die cut from Tim Holtz that I layered using foam dots, curling the petals as I adhered them (the bottom two I curled the petals down, the top two I curled the petals up!)
I stamped my sentiment from Waltzingmouse directly onto the patterned paper base.

This is so unlike any Halloween card that I have ever seen -- and it is beautiful!!! I like the diamond background DP, which helps to set off your lovely flower.
This is so creative, Julia. I love the different papers and who would have ever thought a Halloween card could be so beautiful. Thanks for playing in my challenge.
