I have been thinking of using the Bandana Technique as part of my next Stamp Club get-together so when I saw the challenge for to-day and this shirt in particular http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban...d=MORE%20IDEAS my mind was made up! The blue made a nice 'guy card' but when I tried different colours like pink and purple ..I couldn't get sparkles and embossing out of my head! Instead of using a white gel pen this technique called for white acrylic paint which made more sense to me since my gel pen skills suck! In keeping with my New Years Resolution I used scraps for everything but the base card and 'shopped my stash' to find those neat purple sparkly leaves.

Sue, it is NOT your gel pen skills...it is the pens themselves that SUCK! : ) The white acrylic dots really bring the bandana prints to life...and what neat cards for any age or sex. Your stamp club must swoon whenever it is your turn to present something new. Know I would!

The minute I opened this post my mind said (before reading the details) THESE look like those red bandana's! GREAT reproduction of those iconic items! I agree about the white gel pens... I have yet to fins one that works REALLY well! Great accenting with the acrylic paint!
