Jeanne's MixAbility challenge this morning was a fun one. Fun enough to get me out of bed and started before I left for work.
I created a wrinkle-free distress background with Tea Dye, Forest Moss, Peeled Paint and 1 splotch of Broken China. Then I stamped a Rubbernecker bamboo background with Mowed Lawn. Then I used a TCW bamboo mask with L&B Gilding Wax - and had the dickens of a time getting it off my hands before work. No wonder that stuff doesn't need a fixative once it's set. Getting home from work I took a second homemade stencil from an earlier MIX challenge and used yellow Stickles to create some sunny highlights in my bamboo grove.
Stampendous Panda stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with Peeled Paint and Tea Dye, sponged with Antique Linen and Broken China, popped up on foam.
