It's here! Dare to Get Dirty Week! Yeah! This project is for Kittie's challenge. Want to know more? Read about it HERE, and come join the fun!
This project was so much fun for me! A friend gave me this 1920's industrial sewing machine spool, and I wanted to use it as a part of my stamp room. It was perfect for a lace display! I wrapped the spool with muslin, and covered it with my favorite bits of lace, securing each one with a stick pin. The Hubs (THE Buckleman) drilled holes in the bottom and added little drawer pulls that look like antique door knobs! Oh...love that man! There is another drawer pull at the top. The tag has blooms made with dies from Memory Box, and the centers have champagne colored beads. HERE is a close up of the tag. Most of this wonderful lace was a gift from Jan, (Heartsong47). Thanks Sistah, it's like you are right there! ((((Hugs))))
Behind the word Faith (from ODBD) I used my favorite background set of all time from Kittie Kits. You can find them HERE.
Thanks for looking!

Hey, sistah! So glad you got to play. You know that i love every creation of your caring heart and creative hands. I am also quite partial to lovely lace and this sports some beauties (happy sigh of contentment The amazing tag and trademark blooms marry this beauty of a vintage spool in the most romantic union. Do I understand that Hubbie Bubbie gets some credit in this creation, too. Duly noted and admired ttmab
