Can't believe my middle daughter has hit Sweet 16! We are having her party tomorrow so I wanted to get her card made today and thought today's color challenge colors: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist and Calypso Coral would be a nice combo to use. I stamped my flower in Marina and die cut with the matching framelit die. I then stamped it twice more and fussy cut to layer the center portions. I used ink form the ink pad lids with a wet brush to add all 3 colors to my flower. I kind of lost the lines, so I went back with a marker to add some definition again. I stamped my sentiment in Bashful Blue. The word is actually "sweets" so I used my Word Window punch to punch just the part of the word I wanted (punched the right side first then used a sticky note to hold the piece and stamped the left side. I also double punched the Designer Label punch to make the piece behind the word. Added some rhinestones for glam. I die cut Little Leaves in white and my numbers in Bashful Blue. I added a strip of Marina embossed in the Perfect Polka Dot ef and used Honeycomb for the Calypso Coral base. I positioned the Marina strip just so that the left hand side looks like a chevron. My flower is popped for added dimension.
