This is my card for this weeks CC436 challenge. Vicki is our hostess and she has chosen soft sky, marina mist and calypso coral as the color trio. week. Our dessert is to use a die cut.
For my card I went with a cas card. Something I donÂ’t usually do and have trouble with but I wanted to use the hexagon punch and the gorgeous grunge stamp set. I thought cas was the way to go with this one. And, I like how it turned out.
I punched my hexagon shapes out of various calypso coral dsp. I used the Spellbinders nested pennants to cut my flag and the Spellbinders oval for my sentiment. The sentiment is form the six-sided sampler set.
I used the gorgeous grunge set and stamped in marina mist ink in the corners. Added some dew drops to complete my card.

The spatters look great and they always add so much to a card and to think SU actually made an image that makes it easy for anyone to achieve the look, much easier than my flicking the ink with a straight pin. I like the gems too!
