I made this card for the color challenge here on Splitcoaststampers. The colors this week are Soft Sky, Marina Mist and Calypso Coral, I had to rely on my Stampin Up catalog for colors and I think I got pretty close. Regardless IÂ’m having a great time guest designing for the challenge this month along with some very talented ladies.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot the dessert which is to use a die cut, I cut my image panel with the petite rectangles Nestabilities and the butterflies are from Cheery Lynn.
Copic colors: rose – R17,14,12,11, leaves – G09,07,03,00, shading around image B41 and blender
The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the 1/16” and ¼” borders. The Perfect Ruler came in handy for lining up the panels on the card base using the center zero section.

beautiful rose image and coloring Roxie and I love the coral color -a coral rose is supposed to be a mood brightener-your card would certainly do that on someone's birthday

Roxie, this is gorgeous! The rose is beautifully colored and perfectly balanced with the brads on the upper left and the sweet butterflies on the lower right. The side bars are brilliant. A classy and classic card.

Roxie, this is beautiful. Your color blending is wonderful - soft, with just the right amount of white left on both rose and leaves. This card is so well designed and balanced, and the challenge colors so well represented. A lovely, lovely card.
